【摘要】:ThispartofISO14680isoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.Itspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthepigmentcontentofpaintsinwhichtheproductundertestisashed.Themethodisnotapplicabletocoatingmaterialscontainingaluminium,organicpigmentsand/ordyestuffs,orinorganicpigmentstreatedwithorganiccompounds.Suchconstituents,whichcouldmakeupabout10%ofthepigment,willbelostduringashing.Asthestateofmanypigmentsandextenderschangesunderthespecifiedtestconditions,itwilldependonthecompositionandthechosenashingtemperaturewhethertheactualpigmentcontentoftheproductundertestcanbededucedfromtheapparentpigmentcontentfoundbythismethod.ThemethodisgenerallynotsuitableforUVpaintsandvarnishesorthosecontainingreactivediluentsrequiringspecialheatingconditions.Thepigmentcontentofcoatingmaterialscanalsobedeterminedbyacentrifugemethod(seeISO14680-1)orbyafiltrationmethod(seeISO14680-3).
