【摘要】:1.1.1*Thisstandardappliestofireprotectionforfield-erectedandfactory-assembledwater-coolingtowersofcombustibleconstructionorthoseinwhichthefillisofcombustiblematerial.1.1.2*FireRiskAnalysis.Thefollowingaresomeofthefactorsthatshallbeconsideredindeterminingtheextentandmethodoffireprotectionrequiredforinduced-draftandnatural-draftcoolingtowers:(1)Importancetocontinuityofoperation(2)*Sizeandconstructionoftower(3)Typeoftower(4)Locationoftower(5)Watersupply(6)Valueoftower(7)Climate(8)*Waterdeliverytime(9)Environment(10)Rooftoptowers(11)Limitedaccess(12)Constructionofmaterials(See1.1.3.)1.1.3ConstructionMaterialsofCoolingTowers.Whenthecoolingtowers'structure,fananddistributiondecks,louvers,andfillmaterialsareallofnoncombustiblematerials,nofireprotectionisrequired.Ifanyofthesearecombustiblematerialsandthefactorsin1.1.2necessitateit,fireprotectionshallbeprovidedinaccordancewithChapter3andtowersshallbelocatedinaccordancewithChapter2.Allotherchaptersshallbeconsideredmandatoryrequirements.
