【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoopticalimagingsystemsintheopticalspectralregionfromλ=100nmtoλ=1μm.Theoreticalreflectionsandthecomparisonwiththecalculationapplyonlytoopticalsystems.Theseneednot,however,berotationallysymmetric;anamorphicsystems,forexample,areincluded.Telescopicsystemsarealsoincluded.ThetitleofthisInternationalStandardreferstotherelativeirradianceintheimagefield,butthisstandardisalsoapplicabletodeterminationoftherelativeradiantpower.NOTE—Fortelescopicsystemsitwillbesuitabletostateonlytheradiantpower;formostimagingsystems,theconversionfromradiantpowertoirradiancewillbeeasy.Asfarasmeasurementsareconcerned,thisInternationalStandardcanalsobeappliedtoelectro-opticalsystems.Thetwomethodsdescribeddifferparticularlyintheinfluenceofveilingglare.
