【摘要】:?1.1Thetestmethodcoverstheprinciplesofdeterminingthemechanicaltorquerateofspiralcoilsofthermostatmetal.NOTE1—Thistestmethodhasbeendevelopedparticularlytocoverthedeterminationofthemechanicaltorquerateofspiralcoilsmadeofthermostatmetalforcarburetorsandmanifoldheatcontrols.Themethodisnotlimitedtothermostatmetalsandcanbeusedforspiralcoilsofothermaterialsforwhichthetorqueratemustbemeasuredaccurately.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
