【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesthefiltertypepoweredairpurifyingrespirators(hereafterreferredtoasthe"PAPR")tobeusedintheplacewheretheinhalationofparticulatematterfloatingintheair(hereafterreferredtoasthe"dust,etc.")inworkingplaces,etc.mayexertaharmfulinfluenceonhumanbody.ThePAPRspecifiedinthisStandardcannotbeusedintheoxygendeficientatmos-phereortheenvironmentinwhichanexplosionhazardexists.ThisStandardalsoba-sicallyspecifiestheconditionsinwhichelectricfanofthePAPRnormallyoperates.ForthePAPRwithafacepiece,itisassumedthatthePAPRmaybecontinuouslyusedasafilter-typerespiratorevenwhentheelectricfanhasstoppedduetobatteryexhaustionorhasbeenintentionallystoppedaccordingtotheenvironmentalconditions.ThePAPRthatiscertifiedtohaveexplosion-proofconstructionaselectricmachineapparatusmaybeusedintheenvironmentinwhichanexplosionhazardexists.
